Patron's Message

St Joseph's Boy's School, Jalandhar “Jesus was God incarnate, a uniquehuman being as the Son of Man. And yet the approach, method and content used by Jesus Christ in his teaching continue to be paradigm for Christian education”. Dear People of God. Jesus Christ spent his public ministry teaching the people especially his disciples about the love of God. He was recognised and acknowledged as a great teacher by his disciples and public in general (John.3:2). He was God incarnate, a unique human being as the Son of Man. And yet the approach, method and content used by Jesus Christ in his teaching continue to be paradigm for Christian education. St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Defence Colony, Jalandhar is a humble attempt by the Diocese of Jalandhar, a Catholic —Christian minority undertaking, to provide all with spiritual, moral and socio-ethical values based on Christian principles and values as taught by Jesus Christ irrespective of caste, creed and colour. I do appreciate you for the initiative and confidence with which you chose to educate your child in St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School. May the wisdom of your ward begin with “the fear of the Lord” (Proverbs. 2:5) and that he/she learns to love God and his/her fellow beings (John. 13:34-35).

May God Bless you.

Bishop of Jalandhar
(Patron & President of the School)

Chairman cum Director’s Message

St Joseph's Boy's School, Jalandhar Dear parents,

'SCIERE AMARE ET SERVIRE -Come to Learn and Go to Serve' The whole purpose of education is for all individuals to learn and grow as better people. As per the motto of our school - ' Come to Learn and Go to Serve' .We help our children at St.Joseph to learn to be good human beings and be a blessing to the society. As Jesus our Lord taught us to serve man is to serve God, we make our students to hold the moral values like truthfulness, courtesy, generosity, compassion, justice, love and trustworthiness and share it with others. As each and every student is unique we try to nurture every one's potential according to their capacity. And we hope our students represent our hopes and dreams as we give right knowledge to them.

True education releases capacities, develops analytical abilities, confidence, will and goal-setting competencies and instils the vision serving the best interests of the community. St.Joseph's convent school is not just one school in the list of schools in Phagwara city but it is the one which made a great difference in giving quality and moral education for many years. And its traditions are being formed and developed. As the children are planted in the garden of St.Joseph, we perform our role to the best of our ability to nurture them and make them to bloom and bear the best fruits. This all possible only by the help of our dear parents whose trust inspires us to move ahead. May God bless every one.

Principal’s Message

St Joseph's Boy's School, Jalandhar Dear Parents and well wishers,

Education leads to transformation. It transforms everything and everyone beyond one’s imagination. If you want a change from the doom of darkness and if you are longing for a ray of light to shine upon you and your family then do nothing special but educate the other in your family, remind your child to dream and dream like Malala Yousafzai, the young inspiration of the present world who states in her book ‘I am Malala’: “Today I looked at myself in a mirror and thought for a second. Once I had asked God for one or two extra inches in height, but instead he made me as tall as the sky, so high that I could not measure myself. So I offered the hundred raakat nafl prayers that I had promised if I grew.” Let us also inspire our young minds to believe as Malala said: “One child, One teacher, One book, One pen can change the world”, and urge them to work hard to fulfill their dreams with the power of prayers, courage and conviction that they may change the world for a better tomorrow. For Jesus’ Most Sacred Heart invites and inspires: “let the little children come to me, do not stop them, for it is to such as these that the Kingdom of God belongs.” (Matthew 19:14)
