The aim of the School is to impart quality education designed for the all- round development of the child. The students will be taught and prepared for their future duties by a careful cultivation of their minds and hearts.
This school follows the Education Pattern set by the council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. The University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate with the assistance of Inter State for Anglo-Indian Education established the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations in 1958.
The School is named after St. Joseph, the foster father of Lord Jesus, as our heavenly Patron. The Holy family is made up of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. Second only to Mary, Saint Joseph is the person that spent the most earthly hours and days with Jesus.
Life of St. Joseph
A Short Biography of St. Joseph
Everything we know about Saint Joseph, the husband of Mother Mary and the foster father of Jesus comes from the Holy Bible.
We know Joseph was a carpenter, a working man, for the skeptical Nazarenes ask about Jesus, "Is this not the carpenter's son?" (Matthew 13:55). He wasn't rich for when he took Jesus to the Temple to be circumcised and Mary to be purified, he offered the sacrifice of two turtledoves or a pair of pigeons, allowed only for those who could not afford a lamb (Luke 2:24).
Despite his humble work and means, Joseph came from a royal lineage. Luke and Matthew present Joseph's genealogy marking his descent from David, the greatest king of Israel (Matthew 1:1-16 and Luke 3:23-38). Indeed, the angel who first tells Joseph about Jesus greets him as "son of David," a royal title used also for Jesus.
